It says europe/london. I may have sent those screenies when I had wrong timezone set or when I tried different modem files.

I will go back to post 96 and see if I can do it.

Hi

Your locale must start with capital E and capital L as your answer for locale is in lower case

with apols for being anal on syntax......and I use lower case all the time

3) Can I get you do try something for me pls.

Open a notepad or wordpad or word doc

assuming you are right handed, after running the commands correctly,
instead of taking a screenshot ....try this

hold down left button on the first part of the terminal bit
while still holding down left button
move mouse down to the end of the right hand side last input

press Alt and TAB key to get to open notepad/etc
press down your wheel button at beginning of notepad to paste what is hightlighted in terminal

(if your mouse is left and right button only) press down left and right buttons and the same time to emulate the wheel button

if it works then you can copy and paste from notepad into web browser reply.

I shall turn you into a Linux expert in no time.....giggles

sure what I am asking is that you need to ensure what ever your new settings are,
the region must start with a Capital letter, City with capital letter.

I only buy phones with an sd slot. This was for the wife who chooses phones by style lol. She has bought a used iphone 5 again yesterday so is not bothered by this one now doh!

I am not sure if fixing internal storage is gonna sort much to be honest as it sees internal storage fine with stock recovery and on the pc. Plus it will not fix my no service issue. If it could find a signal I would just use it as it is.
