Hi guys,

I have had some issues in step 6 (phone not detected) so I skipped it.

Then I have another problem on step 8. When I type in " run_test.bat " directly in minimal adb it says that run_test.bat is recognized neither as intern or extern command, nor as a file.

What can I do?

Does not work.

I follow the instruction#2: Run temporary TWRP and install gapps/root/permanent TWRP.

Now I got the 5.1.1 V2.6 running with Gapps Working.

In TWRP i installed "gapps-5.1.x-20150404-minimal-edition-signed.zip" from my SD Card .... maybe not the best one but Google play , Google Maps and Gmail is working fine

I tried installing gapps and SuperSU using temporary TWRP in Ubuntu Linux and here's (
  root.zip (Size: 926 bytes / Downloads: 15) ) the script that I made to make it more easy. Just extract it where the run_test.bat is and run ./flash_root_gapps.sh or sh flash_root_gapps.sh.

Btw, in Ubuntu, you don't need to install drivers. Just need to modify udev, which is included in that script.

It worked fine to me, at least run temporary TWRP. I have not used the bat file, just manually reboot to recovery (vol up + power) then reboot to bootloader (got just the camel logo screen) and then run the commands:
sudo fastboot devices
sudo fastboot boot recovery.img (from the extracted '/TWRP/adb/' folder)

On a phone using Common v1.1 (5.0.2)
from a Linux machine(ElementaryOS)

now backuped everithing and go flash a newer android version on the device

ADB is not recognizing my device in bootloader mode. I have literally tried every single thing but it just wont work. Basically I'm trying to install gapps on 2.6

If you try tot do it under Windows 10, it may not work. Please try on a laptop or computer with Windows 7.

I also tried it on a windows 8 PC but it also didn't work. I'll try it on a windows 7 machine and see how it goes.
