That got me further. Actually managed to install gapps, but after rebooting the phone is super slow and superhot, and battery draining like crazy. And no google apps will start, clicking google play starts it and then it closes again before it loads. Same with gmail, starts, but at the step to type in my email adress it exits.
Bummer, I'll try from scratch again.
Even tried disabling the "unlocked bootloader" and dev options to see if it was some check in gapps for that causing the issues.
haha, after flashing my phone in QFIL it is now dead, no signs of life. When connecting it to my computer it opens a lot of drives that my computer insists needs to be formatted.
And QFIL fails with Download fail: Failed to switch to emergency download mode, "Download fail: Switch to EDL FailFireHose Fail" message.
Flashed it in QFIL 3 times earlier with no issues.

You have to instal some ADB interface (like ADB minimal) and then in terminal
type command: fastboot oem unlock-go (while you are in download mode).
After that, reboot the phone and run Run_test.bat

Tutorial modified. I ran "run_test.bat" in bootloader/fastboot mode (since I was there anyway to unlock bootloader). Some users seem to have had success with running it while booted into Android as well. Should work either way. Pick your poison.

Yes, but...
Lots of troubles with GAPPS (impossible to sign in), applications just refuses to open, can't read my messages and emails...
I recommend you to wait for a while.

Definitively wrong drivers. Try to find some driver cleaner app to wipe any remaining traces of previously installed ones. After a good cleaning try again!
On the other thoughts, I think you'll be a happier with a stock ROM

I'm also having issues with the GAPPS can you please report some working GAPPS. The second link you provided does not work and the first is not 64 bit

See the current link. The Open Gapps installed and worked fine for me, but have provided the well respected fitsnugly gapps.
