Help me figure out what this phone is coz' i really need a new rom !

Hi guys !
I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what the hell is the phone i just received.

I tried several methods to root the device but nothing worked so far.
One little thing : I learn from MTK tools that my devices was register as a IQ6.5 ( what the F is that ?) Even though i bought it to be a Huawei.

As you would have noticed, IT'S VERY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT IT SUPPOSED TO BE.

Anyway, this phone as it is, is very VERY laggy ( even though i pulled of a 49k score on antutu)

I would like to pick a new rom, see if it changes anything.

Forget about antutu, the scores are fake. Cpu-z gives the hardware as a 6572 which is likely to be your cpu, hence the lag. The true manufacturer is alps which is very well known for fake phone specs. The photos on ali show the same phone not only as huawei but also as lenovo.... need I say more? To be honest, did you really think you could buy an octacore phone with 4/16GB for $109 ???
You may find a rom somewhere, but whether this will solve anything is very unlikely, and, before doing anything I strongly suggest you intend to make a full flashtools backup of your phone and most of all: read a lot about flashing, backingup and everything else related here on this forum. You will save yourself a lot of agony and common mistakes.

I did not really think this trough since it was a gift. Now that i have it, i thought i would make the best of it.
If you get any hint to find a working rom on this device, it would be really apreciated !

Forget About Antutu its all fake

Just another suggestion: check out your sensors with a sensor test app. The specs of your phone tell a different story of what antutu show to be "supported", so you'd do wise to get a good idea of what's really in your phone. Also I wouldn't try too much to find a different rom, usually it is better to get a good set of apps (not too many, but those that work good and are lightweight on resources).
I've had a similar case of a so-called octacore phone that had a dual core. I made a well balanced setup to have a phone that works smooth and reliable, up until today it still works nice.

Since i already know where the phone has been purshased i will ask if the vendor could send me the rom. In order to see what's inside. Thank you for your replies i will test every thing you said In the mean time, if you have any other clue ! I'm all hears !
