Thank you for your reply, i did what you proposed but it states that cannot be rooted,also during the process , i doesn't prompt me to with permission pop ups. Any idea what can i do wrong please?

I don't really understand d using of dis tool, I have never used it successfully once.. All I rely on now is miracle box.. I really wish to know how to operate dis Mtk droid tools.

hi, anthraxmorbus. Is your phone rooted? what are you trying to do with Droid Tools? Try connecting your phone to PC while booted into recovery.

MTK Droid Tools provides an easy way for backing up your phone -- ROM and NVRAM. Here are links to tutorials on how to use MTK Droid Tools for these 2 tasks.
Full Backup: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
NVRAM Backup: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
These methods require your phone to be rooted.

Another important use of this program is creating CWM. If you are creating a backup, it will come to a point where Droid Tools will ask you to automatically build CWM.
However, if you are unrooted, you will need your boot.img and recovery.img files to build CWM.

I have never tried using Miracle Box, but it seems to be a pretty comprehensive and powerful tool. If you are able to create full backups, create custom recovery, etc. that's not a problem. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to try out Droid Tools and make an extra backup.
