Question
I have Excelvan Q99 Tablet, which has very low internal memory. I have an external micro SD card of 8 GB, but still couldn't install many apps due to insufficient internal memory.
I read on the Internet that if I modify vold.fstab and replace the word "sdcard" with "sdcard2" then my external SD card will act as internal memory.
So I rooted my phone and installed es file exlporer, but I haven't installed ClockworkMod recovery or any other custom ROM yet.
Problem Description:
I installed ES File explorer on my phone and allowed root access to it via Kingo Android root. I then went to /system/etc/ from ES file explorer, edited vold.fstab and replaced the word sdcard with sdcard2.
When I restarted my phone the external SD was no longer appear and accessible. ES File Explorer is also gone, so I cannot undo the change that i did. I tried installing ES again on my, but when i tried to root the tablet again it can’t be rooted because my computer can’t identify the tablet again and i tried to download root software to my tablet but it can’t be download it will say application cannot be installed in the default location and the developer option of my tablet is not working also.
I am unable to access my external SD card, so I can't put anything there via PC even the developer option of my tablet is not working i have tried to do factory setting many times but it don’t solve the problem, Please somebody to help me out, sine the time my tablet have problem i can’t feeling fine, please can somebody help me out?

Hi, in OP you mention
Note: For MT6572 UBIFS, you must use the UBIFS MT6572 download
Where do I get UBIFS MT6572 download? nothing seems to work for my GOWIN d8 - it is UBIFS MT6572

The newest version linked in the OP should support UBIFS. The 'note' was left from when this thread was first made. Thanks for the heads up.
