So I managed to crack the screen on my Lenovo k910 and whilst waiting for the new screen to arrive I'm using my Jiayu g5 32gb with the 3000mah battery. Despite the initial problems I had with it (replacing the speaker, poor gps) everything seems to be working fine now. In fact this phone is a beast in many ways but it's battery endurance is absolutely outstanding. Here are my battery stats for the past 25 hours and as you can see there's 54% remaining after moderately heavy use. This is a stock phone with no modifications (undervolt, overclocking etc). The spike in battery level on the graph is due to rebooting the phone. This is done because the battery software for the g5 isn't optimized for the 3000mah battery and therefore doesn't read it properly. Rebooting resets the counter, so to speak, and gives the actual percentage remaining. For a lot of the time wifi, gps and mobile data were on too. This is one of the reasons I bought it and it's certainly impressive from that point of view. With the new octa core model coming out I would highly recommend the large battery option to prospective buyers.
That is downright outstanding! I'm sorry to hear about your Lenovo K910 screen, but on the plus side it gave you some time in the drivers seat with this puppy. Not bad at all.
Did I read it right that you have a 3000 mAh battery in a 4.5" phone?

That's correct. The Jiayu g5 is a 4.5" phone. It normally comes with a 2000mah battery but the 3000mah battery from the g4 fits it.
My jealousy runs wicked crazy deep right now. That's SO awesome! I love big phones, hugely because of the battery. But you've somehow managed to wedge a huge battery into a tiny phone, broken the universe, and created a Frankenphone that will never die. That's insanely, insanely cool!

Lol. It's got nothing to do with me. It's offered as an option when you buy it along with a slightly larger back cover and case. My daughters Lenovo p780 is the real Frankenphone with the standard 4000mah battery in a 5" phone!
