A very strange mistake indeed. I'm constantly amazed at the *typical* Asian refusal to properly market their international products. It defies all reason.
It's not just one company, and it's not just China. It's probably not just Asia either, but because so many things are produced in Asia, perhaps it seems more prominent.
It ranges from simple things like the page from the OP, instructions on how to flash their phones, manuals, marketing slogans. Ulefone Be Touch 2 - "joint snap up event". WHUT THE HOLY F*K?
It's truly astonishing.
On the Elephone main page - "Subscribe to be the first to know about Sales,Evebts, and Exclusive Offers!".
I was just going to say THL had done a great job marketing their latest THL 2015, but then I saw they're using some words straight from Blu marketing material -
..and no favicon for their site?
Whut?
The thing is that this is not difficult stuff to fix. You just need a native speaker to patch it up, but apparently this is beyond them.
Errr... Ummm... Did I just say all that out loud?
To address the OP, no I don't think they are connected. The most likely explanation is as @Wuddawaste surmised. That this was a cut and paste job. I could be wrong, but if so, it would be a rare occasion
