All about NFC on Inew V3 (info and tests)

Hi i have tested some days ago NFC with the Inew V3
so now i'm sharing the results and info with you

first of all if NFC and/or GPS is not working dont start to pull out any contacts
as they will easily break.. better is to try this first the following


It seems that the populair and widely available Mifare Classic Cards are currently not supported by Inew V3 but thats not really the fault of this phone or design but it's all about licenses/agreements/costs etc, also some (expensive) brand phones and Tablets like Samsung Galaxy and Nexus have the same issue with these cards, the reason is just because of the hardware chip that is used here (non NXP Brand chip), the Inew V3 does read the UID header (card identification type and serial) without any problems but doesnt read or write any other data, the chip just doesnt include any hardware support to read out the sectors of this card and i doubt that this can be solved with software so its a bit pitty because these cards would be very nice to use to read/write since they have 1kbyte of storage but fortunatly the Mifare Ultralight/NTag203 is working fine
it means that this phone hase a full working NFC chip except built in support for the cheaper Mifare Classic cards

* are tested & working fine with Inew V3 in read and write mode as well as most other brands
- not compatible with Inew v3, Nexus and Samsung Galaxy 4 and some other brands and models

also the same NFC problems like detect/initialization might be an issue between phones & tablets with original
NXP brand chips, and phones with another brand/type of chip, if they use same or similair chip then it just works,

I have just done it and heard the click ! Now, I want to test the GPS (I had the loose-lock problem), I need to wait some hours.

@yes.lior > Use your thumbs to push on the both sides of the rear camera. You will hear a click : the antenna is now well linked with phone.

Edit: Well, I keep the GPS signal but the position is erratic. Waze is unusable.

NFC does not seem to work at all on both of my INew V3's. I push down on those two spots in the photos and heard to the click sound from one of the spots tried the NFC again between the two phones and nothing. Went into the settings to make sure the NFC option was turn on. Did it again and nothing...I am running the latest Kernal Version which I think is the Jan 2014 and the build number of 1.0.4. Anyone mind helping me out here a bit I really have no idea whats going on.

For the life of me I never tried NFC before, but for this thread, I tried it with my Note 2 and the V3, I beamed the Google Maps app content from the Note 2 to V3 flawlessly. So it is working for me.

Are you trying to pair your V3's, or one of them with another device? Try more devices or NFC cards, because the NFC chip inside V3 is not compatible with everything on the market. It should support most of the gadgets, but not all.
