iNew V3 won't start up or charge.

Hi,

So I'd bought an iNew V3 last December, and after two weeks its started turning on / off automatically, not charge up or simply freeze unexpectedly then return to normal. Back then it was my first experience with a smartphone so I just thought I was pressing something wrong or it was normal for it to do that. After some time it came back to normal until two days ago. It started ' unplugging ' itself from the socket. It was clearly plugged in and I tried with several chargers and ports ( some of them my friends' ) but it still does it. Just yesterday I had charged it till 100%, left it for five mins then find it at 18% ( on sleep mode with the lowest battery consuming settings ( though it was always set with the lowest ones such as brightness, etc.. )) ; a few seconds later it loses power. Today it stayed alternating from 0% to 1% for around an hour then it wouldn't charge at all. I left it in a socket for a whole day and it won't start up. I believe it must be a loose connection but it was working fine before so why now? If anybody has a possible answer or solution, I'd be so grateful!

Hello, welcome to the forum. This sounds like hardware fault with the phone. Could be something that manifested itself as your earlier issues, then got more serious.

It might just be the charging system is shot and the battery is dead. Take the battery out and charge it with a universal charger. They might have them at your local hardware shop, or you can get them off eBay/Amazon for a few bucks. Leave it charging for at least a couple hours (most universal chargers charge very slowly)

Then see if the phone turns on.
