Hi
Sometimes people have to try a number of rooting tools before they find one that works.
The following is a suggestion to give you information on what exploits might exist on your device so you can then research the tools that take advantage of that exploit.
Unfortunately root tools do not have a one-to-one name but you can google the exploit to tool name.

1) Go into system settings -> security and allow unknown sources for apk installs
2) download the xray apk from this site....using your Android
3) install it by navigating to your downloads, normally on your sdcard using your file manager
4) run it and let it scan for expoits
5) Additional research can be found here
and here
which has another link as well
6) My testing showed my icoean had exploits
-----I am too shy to reveal them......giggles and my m-horse....not vulnerable
as per image....ticks mean exploits have been patched or fixed so not available
good luck
