[Question] Which Phone Should I Buy?

For Merimobiles, the coupon code for the forum discount is "arena". For Gearbest, it seems "chinaphonearena" coupon expired last August. But I think it should have continued. Let me ask about this.

Many thanks Athos. The "arena" code works on Merimobiles, but the GBT11 one also shows as Expired on Gearbest. And in the link you provided, they still show the TH11 as not having the 1900 band (although the Merimobiles site shows it as being there). I'll make a decision to grab it once I've got it confirmed that it Does actually have the 1900.

I have been using the DG550 for a few days. So far, so good. 5.5" is huge, but strangely comfortable. I am running the AOSP rom and having pretty good luck with it at this point. There were a few growing pains, and I had to make a new APN to get the best results, but overall it is working out to be an amazing bargain.

The DG550 you ended up with also made it on the shortlist of phones for my friend, but I do have to admit, this whole exercise has sorely tempted me to get a new phone for myself! My friend is using a Galaxy Nexus now which is showing its age. As for me, I'm on a Nexus 4 which was bought just a year ago, so I really have no excuse to ditch it. Out of curiosity, does your DG550 have a notification LED on it?

It does not have a notification LED. If you are willing to root and work with Xposed and Gravity Box there is an option to use the buttons as a notifier, but I have not played with it.
